Challenge

  • Following a re-organization which dismantled their digital center of excellence, the brand team was made responsible for overseeing execution of digital projects
  • This shift in responsibility put a strain on brand managers’ time which the team sought to address through an efficient outsourced support model

Solution

  • Established the first multi-channel program management office for the company
  • PMO was responsible for overseeing and driving on-time digital delivery for all consumer and patient activity
  • Drove integration across 5 vendor partners (creative, IT, technology, media and relation-ship marketing agencies), and internal IT
  • Developed integrated delivery timelines and managed risks
  • Instituted digital delivery processes to increase speed and quality, including improvements to agency briefing process, scoping and scheduling, MLR review and IT department integration, and knowledge management
  • Provided marketing technology advise to support migration of Web properties to a new content management platform
